Get ready for a unique experience with real farm life! In this program, your class will get a pregnant beef cow and follow her journey as she prepares to give birth to a calf. You’ll receive monthly updates about your cow, and your students will have the chance to name both the cow and her calf! Along the way, they’ll learn how cows are identified, what they need to grow, and all about the people who help raise beef cattle.
Each month, students will dive deeper into the daily workings of a beef farm and see firsthand what life looks like for farmers and their animals. Through video sessions, your class can interact directly with the farm family, asking questions and seeing their cow in action. With exciting journal prompts and real-time updates, students will get the chance to watch their calf grow and experience the full cycle of life on a beef farm.
This is an amazing opportunity for students to connect with agriculture, learn about the animals that help feed the world, and even build a personal connection with their very own cow!
